The Senior Sales Account Manager is a new position within Wanderwell’s blossoming team. This role will foster, refine, develop, and scale our Affiliate Partner & Connector Program, as well as drive strategy and contribute to the execution of partnerships.

As part of the Wanderwell Business Development team, you’ll be at the forefront of expanding our network of travel accounts and ensuring our clients have the best experience possible.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Building Relationships: Forge strong connections with travel industry accounts, making sure our clients feel valued and satisfied every step of the way.
  • Strategic Planning: Create and implement exciting account plans that hit sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Engaging Clients: Host fun meetings and presentations to understand client needs, share creative solutions, and showcase the awesome benefits of Wanderwell Travel Insurance.
  • Market Exploration: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor moves to uncover new opportunities for growth.
  • Representing Us: Be the face of Wanderwell at industry conferences and events, sharing our story and expanding our travel-loving community. 

What You Bring to the Table

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B2C account development, ideally in the travel or insurance realms.
  • A solid understanding of the travel industry, including agencies, airlines, cruise lines, hospitality, tour operators, and OTAs.
  • Stellar communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills that make people want to work with you.
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • A strategic mindset focused on results and growth.
  • A willingness and excitement to travel, both domestically and internationally.
  • A proactive spirit that thrives on new ideas and teamwork.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary = $65-$75k per year + Tiered Commissions
  • Bonus based on team performance
