Community & Affiliate Channel Representative

The Community & Affiliate Channel Representative is a new position within Wanderwell’s blossoming team. This role will foster, refine, develop, and scale our Affiliate Partner & Ambassador Program, as well as drive strategy and contribute to the execution of partnerships.

Affiliate Channel:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Wanderwell’s customers.
  • Refine and build our Affiliate Partner Program and Ambassador Program.
  • Drive traffic and customer acquisition through our Affiliate Partner & Ambassador Program.
  • Recruit new Affiliate Partners and Ambassadors by facilitating sustainable and scalable outreach strategies to our main partner cohorts, including social media influencers, non-competitive brands with similar audiences, trade publications, and affiliate agencies. (ie Travel Retailers, Influencers, Publications, Insurance Agents/Agencies)
  • Manage daily operations of the Affiliate marketing channel – strategy building and execution, platform setup and management, affiliate recruitment, program optimizations, and performance measurement/reporting.
  • Meet and exceed pre-defined KPIs aligned to forecasted traffic and acquisition numbers.
  • Build and manage Affiliate program metrics and ensure end-to-end tracking and proper measurement. Analyze, report and provide optimization recommendations on affiliate program performance that ultimately inform future strategies. 
  • Personalize strategies and use the platform to continuously test, measure, and optimize affiliate marketing campaigns. 
  • Create and curate sample content for Affiliates’ travel insurance web pages

  • B Corp/B Tourism Working Group, 1% for the Planet, Adventure Travel Trade Association, Transformational Travel Council
  • Related Organizations: Tourism Declares a Climate Emergency, Travel Foundation, CREST, Sustainable Travel International, Tourism Cares
  • Coordinate with our Social Media and Email Marketing contractor 

Requirements:

  • Values-Aligned with relevant experience and knowledge
  • Experience: 2+ years in relevant field, with experience working with travel companies
  • Education: Bachelors Degree or higher
  • Strong listening, communication, organizational, and presentation abilities
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and handle pressure and deadlines
  • Hard-working, goal-oriented, proactive, self-starter
  • Must obtain appropriate insurance licenses within 3 months of employment (reimbursed)

Compensation:

  • Base Salary = $65-$75k per year + Tiered Commissions Split, based on experience level
  • Bonus based on team performance
