*If you are using points/miles, you will look to insure the out-of-pocket costs paid to use those miles, such as taxes and fees.
*If your total nonrefundable trip costs include payments made by another person on your behalf...In the event of a claim, you can assign that paying person as a beneficiary in your claim.
*Be sure to consult your travel suppliers to determine which costs are non-refundable for your particular trip, as cancellation policies vary.
