Generally, the following apply:
- You must be a ticketed passenger on a Common Carrier.
- Delay must be verified by the airlines, cruise lines, hotels, and similar accommodations, who must certify the delay or misdirection.
- Receipts for the purchases must accompany any claim.
- This benefit often applies only en route to destination. (refer to your policy certificate)
