Note that the Rental Car Damage coverage is not liability coverage. This benefit is designed to cover if you rent a car while on the insured Trip, and the car is damaged due to collision, theft, vandalism, windstorm, fire, hail, flood or any cause not within your control while in your possession. An Insured must be a licensed driver and listed on the rental car agreement in order for coverage to apply.
