Customer Support Agent
Working in the Customer Support Team, the Customer Support Representative serves a critical role in assisting our customers and helping to educate them about travel insurance plans, coverage, and claims advocacy. As the primary point of contact with our customers, the agent is expected to be professional, knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and accurate, with the goal of providing the best service possible to our customers.

Primary Duties:
- Provide support and set proper coverage expectations to customers via chat, email, and phone.
- Ask questions to determine the best plan for each customer’s needs and unique trips.
- Process changes and updates to existing policies.
- Maintain updated knowledge on the industry, products, services and procedures.
- Consistently communicate with the team and management - providing feedback and input for improvement and creation of a positive work culture and customer experience.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of social/environmental goals and related company actions.
- Uphold the company’s social and environmental commitments and represent these commitments when corresponding with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in company-wide initiatives to advance social and environmental performance, such as: sustainability training, DEI training, volunteering, and participation in internal committees.
- Proactively work to develop new skills and evolve with Wanderwell!

Qualifications:
- Possess a current Property & Casualty Producer license in your resident state. Life and Health license and travel addendum is a strong plus.
- Experience in customer service, a desire to help people.
- Superior communication, writing, and conversational skills and the ability to connect with a diverse base of traveling customers.
- Possess strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills. Familiarity with Google Workspace, Zendesk.
- Ability to effectively assist customers via communication methods - phone, email, and live chat.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and to work flexible hours.

Compensation:
- Base salary = $40k-$50k per year - based on experience level and licenses held.
